Heather's Whimsy: J's New Friends

I said in an earlier post that J loves his new cars he got for Christmas. I thought this picture showed a boy's love for his toys perfectly. Here he is, deep asleep, yet still yearning to hold his cars! :)

Kids Say The Darndest Things

E: Mom, these pants are too small for me.
Mom: They look like they are long enough, what is wrong?
E: But, I have to unbutton them to pull them up!
Mom: Poor, poor skinny girl! That is how most people have to pull on a pair of pants!

J: So that is how you do it, Mom!
Mom: J, you are so smart!
J: Yeah, Mom, I'm a Genius!

E: Mom, that is the cat that I was following around outside last night. He was on someone's porch, and he looked so cold. I followed him around the front of their house, and he got on their porch by their door and tried to get warm. I rang the doorbell like three times, and knocked, but they weren't home. The cat was so cold. It made me sad.

J: Mom, did you get new tooth brushes?
Mom: No.
J: What are those? (Pointing to a cup full of toothbrushes in the closet)
Mom: Oh, J, those are oooolllddd toothbrushes.
J: (puzzled) So, only old men and old ladies can use them?

Mom: J, come give me lovins! I want some lovins!
J: I don't have any lovins.

M: By the time I'm 18, I'll be a really good rock climber!
Dad: If you would try today, you could be really good!

E: (after being shadowed by J) Mom, now take a picture of just me.
